• 1.5 mi paved oval; 100 laps = 150 mi
• non-spectator; one practice session, no qualifying
• The most recent ARCA race at this track was in September of 2017; the race was won by Austin Theriault.
• The most recent ARCA race was run at Lucas Oil Raceway on July 3. It was won by Chandler Smith.

 4. NTT INDYCAR REV Group Grand Prix #1, Road America

• TV: SportsNet regional channels + SN360 at 5:00P

• 4.0 mi road course, 55 laps = 221 mi
• there will be practice and qualifying sessions prior to the race
• Spectators will be allowed (subject to restrictions).
• Last year’s winner here was Alexander Rossi
• The most recent IndyCar race was at Indianapolis road course last week and it was won by Scott Dixon. Dixon also won the first (and only other) race of the 2020 season at Texas Motor Speedway.

 5. NASCAR (NGROTS) Trucks Buckle Up In Your Truck 225, Kentucky Speedway 

• TV: Fox Sports Racing at 6:00P
• 1.5 mi paved oval; 150 laps = 225 mi; Stages: 35/35/80 laps
• non-spectator, no practice, no qualifying
• Last year’s winner was Tyler Ankrum.
• The most recent NGROTS race was at Pocono on June 28; it was won by Brandon Jones.

Sunday, July 12

6. Formula 1 Pirelli Grosser Preis der Steiermark, Red Bull Ring, Austria
• TV: TSN1/3/4/5 at 9:05A
• The Red Bull Ring (the former Österreichring) is now a 4.318 (2.683 mi) road course in the Styrian mountains near Zeltweg in central Austria.
• Race length = 71 laps = 306.6 km (190.5 mi)
• This is the second Grand Prix here in as many weeks; it will be a non-spectator event with a minimum of personnel in attendance.
• As is usual for such Grand Prix events, there will be two practice sessions on Friday with another practice session plus a qualifying session on Saturday. In addition, this weekend will include races for the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Formula 3 and Formula 2. The F2 races will be broadcast on TSN here in Canada.
• Last year the Austrian Grand Prix was run on June 30th. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was the race winner over Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Max Verstappen (Red Bull).
• Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) won the ‘Austrian Grand Prix’ here last Sunday. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) was second while Lando Norris (McLaren) was third. Lewis Hamilton was penalized twice and he was classified fourth. Verstappen dropped out of the race early with engine problems.

• TV: NBC + Sportsnet regional channels + SN360 at 12:00n

• Last year’s winner here was Alexander Rossi
• The most recent race was the one run here the previous day.

8. NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400, Kentucky Speedway
• TV: TSN3/4 at 2:30P
• 1.5 mi paved oval; 267 laps = 400.5 mi; Stages: 80/80/107 laps
• non-spectator; no practice, no qualifying
• The winner here last year was Kurt Busch, His brother Kyle was second, Erik Jones was third, Kyle Larson was fourth and Denny Hamlin was fifth.
• The winner of last week’s Cup Series race on the IMS big oval was Kevin Harvick.
