Rain postpones the Texas Cup race to Wednesday

Fort Worth, TX, Oct 27/20 (PRN Staff): The NASCAR Cup race which was scheduled to be run last Sunday afternoon (October 25) but was postponed to Monday due to the weather conditions on Sunday and further postponed until Tuesday, October 27 has now been rescheduled to 3:00P EDT on Wednesday, October 28.Fort Worth, TX, Oct 27/20 (PRN Staff): The NASCAR Cup race which was scheduled to be run last Sunday afternoon (October 25) but was postponed to Monday due to the weather conditions on Sunday and further postponed until Tuesday, October 27 has now been rescheduled to 3:00P EDT on Wednesday, October 28.
Originally, the postponed race was supposed to begin at 10:00A EDT on Monday but, despite all efforts to get the track dry enough for racing to resume, the cars never got on the track. Finally, at 6:00 pm Monday, they gave up on their hopes to finish this race on Monday and postponed it to Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday, at 7:00P NASCAR was hopeful that they could resume racing at 8:30P but, before the track was completely dry, more rain came and hopes of getting the race completed on Tuesday were frustrated.
As things stand now, NASCAR plans to restart the race at 3:00P EDT on Wednesday and the race will be broadcast live in the US on NBCSN. Had the postponed race been run on Monday it would have been broadcast on NBCSN in the US and on TSN1/4 in Canada.

TSN has now announced that they too will broadcast this race live on Wednesday, October 28 from 3:00P-7:00 EDT.
These plans have been made in the face of a weather forecast for Fort Worth that predicts rain on both Tuesday and Wednesday. People on site say that they expect the weather to clear on Wednesday afternoon – hence the later planned restart on Wednesday,
Given that the Phoenix finale is set for the weekend after next and that a race is scheduled to be run at Martinsville next Sunday, November 1st and given that it is a long haul for the teams to get their cars and equipment back to North Carolina ready for the Virginia race next Sunday, the logistics of all this seem to be closing in on them.
If the weather were to turn out to be all-day rain on Wednesday, it is hard to imagine exactly how NASCAR would deal with this given the tight schedule and the long-haul logistics for the two remaining races – Texas to Martinsville to Phoenix.
