With the club motto being “Fast, Fun and Friendly”, this Vancouver based club attracts more than 200 members of all age and background each year.

The UBC Slush Series is a unique 7-part autocross championship series that is run during the winter months. The Slush Series has been running for more than 10 years now and their venue, BC Driving Centre, has recently been expanded to cover 12 acres of paved land. With all other local clubs closed for the year, it’s a great chance for the local novice and experienced drivers alike to get a head start on the competition for the various championships run over the regular season.

With such a wide variety of weather possible, it’s also a great time to get some practice driving in various conditions - these events are run in just about any weather mother nature can unleash (including beautiful sunshine!). In 2010-11 there were over 150 drivers compete in the Slush Series, with the Top Gun Championship title eventually won by UBCSCC’s own Ken Au-Yeung, while the title of Slush Series Novice Champion went to Gabriel Caldwell. In 2011, we’re kicking it up a notch with more competition, more prizes, and more fun!
