• 1.54 mi paved oval; 130 laps = 200 mi; Stages: 30/30/70 laps

• Here’s how the starting lineup was determined:
> Positions 1-10: Random draw of teams in those positions in owner points
> Positions 11-21: Random draw of teams in those positions in owner points
> Positions 22-32: Random draw of teams in those positions in owner points
> Any vehicles that are eligible for the Event in position 33rd – 40th will be assigned starting positions based on their order of eligibility.
• Last year the truck race here was the second race of the season and it was run on February 23. Cup driver Kyle Busch carpet-bagged his way to the win over series regulars Johnny Sauter, Grant Enfinger, Brett Moffitt and Ben Rhodes. Matt Crafton who was declared the champion at season’s end despite never having won a single race all year, was an uninspired 14th here.
• The previous truck race this year was at Charlotte on Tuesday, May 26. Cup drivers Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch finished one-two ahead of the series regulars. Rookie Zane Smith was third, Brett Moffitt was fourth and Sheldon Creed was fifth.

2. NASCAR Xfinity Series EchoPark 250, Atlanta Motor Speedway
• TV: FOX/TSN1/3/4 at 4:30P
• 1.54 mi paved oval; 163 laps = 251 mi, Stages: 40/40/83 laps
• a closed non-spectator event
• Here’s how the starting lineup was determined:
>Positions 1 -12: The first 12 NXS Teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up Eligibility will be assigned starting positions 1st – 12th using a random draw.
>Positions 12 – 24: The next 12 NXS Teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up eligibility will be assigned starting positions 12th- 24th using a random draw.
>Starting positions 25 – 36: The next 12 NXS Teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up eligibility will be assigned starting positions 25th -36th using a random draw.
>Any vehicles that are eligible for the Event in position 37th – 40th will be assigned starting positions based on their order of eligibility.
• The Xfinity race ran here on February 23 as the second race in the 2019 season. Christopher Bell won ahead of Cole Custer, Justin Allgaier, Brandon, Jones and Tyler Reddick. Bell, Custer and Reddick have graduated to the Cup series this year, running as rookies.
• The most recent Xfinity race was run last Monday, June 1, at Bristol. On the second-last restart Noah Gragson collided with his JR Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier. Gragson won the final restart and held off Chase Briscoe for the win. Brandon Jones was third, Harrison Burton fourth and Myatt Snider fifth. Allgaier was unable to continue and he was scored 18th, six laps down.

3. NTT INDYCAR Series Genesys 300 , Texas Motor Speedway• TV: NBC/SN360 + regional SN channels at 8:00P
• 1.5 mi paved oval; 200 laps = 300 mi
• a closed non-spectator event
• The starting lineup will be based on single-car, two-lap qualifying runs earlier in the same day.
• The INDYCAR series raced here at Texas last year on June 8; it was the ninth race of the 17-race season. Josef Newgarden won last year’s race. Alexander Rossi was second with Graham Rahal third.
• This year, this Texas race is the first race in the revised 2020 IndyCar season. One driver, Alex Palou, has no prior experience on an oval like this.

4. NASCAR Cup Series Folds of Honor Quik Trip 500, Atlanta Motor Speedway
• TV: FOX/TSN1/4/5 at 3:00P
• 1.54 mi paved oval; 325 laps = 500.5 mi; Stages: 105/105/115 laps
• a closed non-spectator event
• Here’s how the starting lineup was determined:
> Positions 1-12: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
> Positions 13-24: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
> Positions 25-36: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
> Positions 37-40: Open teams in order of owners points
• The Cup race ran here last year on February 24, the second points race of the year. The Penske driver Brad Keselowski won here. Martin Truex was second, Kurt Busch third, Kevin Harvick fourth and Clint Bowyer fifth.
• The most recent Cup race this year ran at Bristol last Sunday, May 31. Keselowski lucked out into a win after Chase Elliott wrecked Joey Logano and his own car after the final restart. Clint Bowyer and Jimmie Johnson were also lucky recipients of what had been bad luck for the others; they finished two-three behind Keselowski. Kyle Busch was fourth and Erik Jones fifth.
