1. F1 ‘Emilia Romagna GP’ at Imola
• Race Date: Sunday, April 18, 2021

• Practice Session Friday on TSN2 at 8:45A; Qualifying Saturday on TSN4/5 at 8:55A

VENUE:
• Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola, Italy
• 4.909 km (3.050 mi) 19-turn road course

THE EVENT:
• Race Distance is 63 laps = 309.276 km
• There are actually three practice sessions, two on Friday and one on Saturday before the qualifying session. We will see the second Friday practice session on TV.

PREVIOUS RESULTS:
• Last year a fill-in GP was run here on Nov 1, for the first time since 2006. Podium Results: 1. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), 2. Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes), 3. Daniel Ricciardo (Renault)
• The most recent F1 event was this year’s season-opener at Bahrain on March 28. Podium Results: 1. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), 2. Max Verstappen (Red Bull), 3. Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes).

• TV: NBC/SN360 at 3:00P to 6:30

VENUE:
• Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, AL
• 2.38 mi (3.83 km) 16-turn asphalt road course

THE EVENT:
• Race Distance is 90 laps = 214.2 mi
• Practice and Qualifying sessions on Saturday (see event schedule)

PREVIOUS RESULTS:
• In 2020 the schedule orignally planned was modified due to the Covid-19 pandemic. No race was held at Barber last year.
• This race at Barber is the first race of the 2021 season. The most recent race was the 2020 season finale at St. Petersburg. Podium Results: 1. Joseph Newgarden (Penske), 2. Pato O’Ward (Arrow McLaren), 3. Scott Dixon (Ganassi)

3. NASCAR Cup Series ‘Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway’
• Race Date: Sunday, April 18
• TV: FOX/TSN1/5 at 3:00P-6:30

VENUE:
• Richmond Raceway, Richmond, VA
• 0.75 mi (1.21 km) asphalt D-shaped oval track; 14° banking in the turns

The EVENT:
• Race Distance is 400 laps = 300 miles; Stages: 80/155/165 = 400 laps
• No practice or qualifying sessions this weekend for Cup or Trucks
• The starting lineups for Cup and Xfinity will be determined by NASCAR’s Metric Qualifying formula. (See the second page of the ‘Starting Lineup’ documents.)

PREVIOUS RESULTS:
• Only one NASCAR race weekend was held here in 2020 – on Saturday, September 12. Podium Results: 1. Brad Keselowski (Ford), 2. Martin Truex (Toyota), 3. Joey Logano (Ford).
• The most recent race this year ran at Martinsville on the previous weekend. Podium Results: 1. Martin Truex (Toyota), 2. Chase Elliott (Chevrolet), 3. Denny Hamlin (Toyota).

• 0.75 mi (1.21 km) asphalt D-shaped oval track; 14° banking in the turns

EVENT:
• Race Distance is 250 laps = 187.5 mi; Stages: 70/70/110 = 250 laps
• No practice or qualifying sessions. Starting lineup determined by NASCAR’s Metric Qualifying formula.

PREVIOUS RESULTS:
• The only NCWTS race held here last year was run on September 10 as an undercard to the Cup race on the following day. Podium Results: 1. Grant Enfinger (Ford), 2. Matt Crafton (Ford), 3. Ben Rhodes (Ford)
• the most recent NCWTS race this year was run at Bristol (dirt track) on Monday, March 29, three weeks earlier. Podium Results: 1. Martin Truex (Toyota), 2. Ben Rhodes (Toyota), 3. Raphael Lessard (Chevrolet)
