FACT FILE: F1 Styria, IMSA Watkins Glen 6 Hours, NASCAR at Pocono

1. Formula 1 ‘BWT Grosser Preis Der Steiermark’ (aka ‘Styrian Grand Prix’)
• Race Date: Sunday, June 27, 2021

THE EVENT:
• Race Distance is 71 laps = 306.452 km (190.42 mi)
• This will be the second running of the Styrian Grand Prix as a second event to the traditional Austrian Grand Prix at this venue. The F1 Austrian Grand Prix has been held at this site (in various configurations – Österreichring, A1-ring, Red Bull Ring) since 1970 with a couple of breaks. Last year a second F1 race, the Styrian GP, was added ro make up for events lost due to the pandemic. This year the Styrian GP will be held here one week before the traditional Austrian GP on the same circuit.
• Tire allotment: Two sets of white-walled hard C2 tires, three sets of yellow medium C3 tires and eight sets of red soft C4 tires are available to each driver for the Styrian Grand Prix.

PREVIOUS RESULTS (Styrian GP):
• Last year the Styrian GP was held here on July 12th. Podium Results: 1. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), 2. Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes), 3. Max Verstappen (Red Bull).

2. IMSA WeatherTech ‘Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen’

• Watkins Glen International, Watkins Glen, NY
• 3.4 mi (3.949 km) 11-turn ‘long course’ which includes the ‘boot’ (clockwise).

THE EVENT:
• Race length is six-hours timed event.
• This is the first of two races to be held here in the course of six days. The second half of the double-header will be a replacement for the cancelled Canadian Tire Motorsports Park event; it will be a 160-minute race starting at 6:00P on the following Friday, July 2nd.

PREVIOUS RESULTS:
