Brad Keselowski Wins Nationwide Race for Snap-on Sponsored Penske Racing at Charlotte

KENOSHA, Wis. – May 30, 2012 – For the third time this season, Snap-on sponsored Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag in a NASCAR race as the Penske Racing driver captured the History 300 Nationwide race on May 26 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“Brad continues to have an impressive season as the only driver who has won in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup series this year,” said Yvette Morrison, vice president of marketing, Snap-on Tools Group. “This upcoming weekend should be pretty exciting with all our Snap-on sponsored drivers in action. We are hoping for big wins from the Snap-on Funny Car in Englishtown and the Snap-on Nationwide car at Dover.”

Earlier this season, Keselowski won Sprint Cup races at Bristol and Talladega. His win in Charlotte over the weekend was Keselowski’s 18th career Nationwide victory.  Keselowski will return to the track this weekend at the Dover (Del.) International Speedway. On June 2, he will drive the Snap-on No. 22 Dodge in the second of four races that Snap-on will serve as the primary sponsor for the Penske Racing Nationwide car. The Snap-on Sprint Cup drivers will also race at Dover on June 3.

Cruz Pedregon and the Snap-on Funny Car will race this week at the Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. beginning May 31 with the finals scheduled for June 3. Pedregon is currently fifth in the season point standings and is looking for his first win of the season.

The Penske IRL drivers will also race this weekend as they compete in the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.  Snap-on sponsored Will Power continues to hold first place in the IRL season point standings while his teammate Helio Castroneves is tied for second.
